Nooterville is a free or low-cost service enabling people in financial need to get their pets spayed or neutered.
Financial Assistance
Depending on your location, you many qualify for a voucher for a spay or neuter. Outside of St. Louis, the process may vary, but in any case, email us at info@poundpals.org and include your name, address, and phone number, and your pet’s name, age, and sex. Or you can text or call 314-496-3194 to discuss the process. If you are eligible, we may provide you with a surgery voucher. After that, you can call one of our clinics to arrange an appointment. Surgeries are done on weekdays.
At the clinic, give the Nooterville voucher to the receptionist. If vaccinations or other services are needed, you pay for them then. When your pet is spayed or neutered through Nooterville, vaccinations are available for a special cost.
Pets who are very young, nursing, or “in season” may need to wait a little while before they can be altered. The veterinarian will help you with this decision. Pets who are not up-to-date on their shots may be vaccinated when they go for surgery. Nooterville offers a low-cost arrangement for shots. The fee is to be paid at the vet clinic on surgery day.
